I like your optimistic view of autumn. I for one, always dread it. Not sure why, but I think it has to do with the cold and lack of sunlight as well as my birthday. Did you watch any of the World Series? Amazing, huh?

I hear you on the lack of sunlight thing. About January or so, I start getting tired of the early darkness. Why do you dread your birthday though?!

I have been watching some of the Series games. I went to sleep around the 8th inning last night, so I didn't know what happened until this morning. I really thought the Astros were gonna win that one with their early lead and all. 3-0, you must be stoked!

Being that this will be my 99th birthday, you start to really dislike them. ;->

I am indeed stoked. I hope they make quick work this time. I can't be staying up this late much longer. 5 hours is ridiculous.

99 birthdays! That would be a lot of celebrating. Guess it gets old, huh? It's amazing that you can still play hockey at that ripe old age. :)
